Site Visit to Major Construction Projects in Guangzhou , PRC

Place : 1. Zhujiang Xincheng West Tower (珠江新城西塔)
2. Guangzhou New TV Tower (广州新电视塔)
Assembly : 10:30 a.m. at Guangzhou East Railway Station, PRC
(Outside G/F Exit of MTR Intercity Through Train Arrival Point)
Programme:
(i) 10:30am – 10:45am Registration at Assembly Point;
(ii) 10:45am – 1:00pm West Tower site visit;
(iii) 1:00pm – 2:30pm Lunch;
(iv) 2:30pm – 5:00pm Guangzhou TV Tower site visit;;
(v) Arrive Tianhe Guangzhou East Railway Station around 5:30pm
All participants are reminded to bring along with them a valid entry permit / visa for entering the PRC.
All participants shall wear their own safety shoes to attend the site visit.
HKIPM had organized a visit to these construction sites on 26th April 2008 before which received great support from members. This is a follow-up visit to these major construction sites in Guangzhou close to their completion stage.
All participants must plan and arrange their own transport to Guangzhou East Railway Station in China for assembly as mentioned above. Those travelling from Hong Kong may travel on the MTR Intercity Through Train departing from Hung Hom Station at 08:18am or by any other means of transport as preferred.
Registration & Enquiry
1. The registration fee is : member of HKIPM and Supporting organizations HK$ 250.00. Non-member HK$ 300.00
*Lunch and local transportation fees in Guangzhou are included.
*Travel Insurance is included in the package fee.
Maximum number of participants for the event is restricted to 35. In the event of over-subscription, priority will be given to the members of HKIPM and Supporting organizations and/or by balloting.
2. In the event that the black rain-storm or typhoon signal no. 8 is hoisted, the site visit will be postponed. No refund will be entertained except in these circumstances.
3. Send your cheque together the Registration Form to the address below. The closing date for this CPD registration is fixed at 30 April 2010.
