The Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYA) is a biennial award organized by The Chartered Institute of Building (Hong Kong). It has been the premier event within the Hong Kong construction industry for over 20 years. This is the tenth time that this event is organized. The prestigious awards are to honour the individuals' outstanding performance and their employing companies' support on building project management for construction projects completed in Hong Kong between January 2007 and December 2008.

Mr. Chong Hok Yuen, Steven possesses more than 18 years of experience in the construction industry. He has managed various public and private building projects. He is currently a Project Manager of Paul Y. Builders Limited, a subsidiary of Paul Y. Engineering Group Limited (0577.HK). He graduated from the South Bank University in UK, with a Bachelor Degree in Building Construction. He furthered his study and obtained his Master Degree in Project Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2003. His wide exposure in the industry has been recognized by professional institutions. Mr. Chong is a corporate member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and a Registered Professional Engineer.
Mr. Kong Sik Wing, Daniel graduated from Coventry University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Management, and obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and the Australian Institute of Building. He possesses 15 years of experience in management of large-scale public and private construction projects. Various phases of Cyberport residential buildings, including Residence Bel-Air I & II, Villa Bel-Air, Bel Air No.8, and Hong Kong Housing Authority projects Tsz Lok Estate, Yu Chui Shopping Centre and Ko Cheung Court are some of the projects completed successfully under his management. Mr. Kong is currently the Contracts Manager of Paul Y. General Contractors Limited, a subsidiary of Paul Y. Engineering Group Limited (0577.HK).
