Abstract.
Chai Wan Fisher Recreation Club has been organized the Eastern District Dragon Boat Race for 22 years at Eastern District of Hong Kong. Near a hundred of different companies and organizations participate the Dragon Boat Race every year which including Hong Kong Police, Fire Service Department and China Town Gas Company etc. For enhancing the fairness of the Dragon Boat Race and the accuracy of measurements of the race course, The Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (H. K. Region) was invited to demarcate, check, and monitor the race course for the Eastern District Dragon Boat Race 2008.
