Abstract

Construction information modeling is the key of effective cost management. By building the construction model with latest technology, surveyors can retrieve real time material take-off from the drawing model. Crashes could be detected prior to the construction and hence reduce cost. The speakers will share their experience in deployment of construction information modeling in a Secondary School development project and Eagle Nest Tunnel and how material take-off could be done accurately and effectively with Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D Software.
