The HKLR serves to connect the HZMB Main Bridge at the HKSAR Boundary and the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities located at the north eastern waters of the Hong Kong International Airport. The section of HKLR between HKSAR Boundary and Scenic Hill comprises a dual 3-lane marine and land viaduct of approximately 9.4km in length connecting the HZMB Main Bridge and the tunnel at Scenic Hill.
