This seminar highlights:
1) Concurrency and Float – how should these matters be dealt with when determining Contractors’ EOT entitlements?
2) Concurrent Delays:
- can they affect the Contractors’ entitlement to EOT under the HKSAR General Conditions of Contract?
- can they affect the Contractor’s entitlement to EOT under the HKIA/HKIS Standard Form of Building Contract?
- how should the Architect deal with them when issuing a certificate of non-completion under the HKIA/HKIS Standard Form of Building Contract?
3) Substantial Completion / Outstanding Work – is the Contractor entitled to EOT under the HKSAR General Conditions of Contract for delays to work which is carried out as “outstanding work” during the Maintenance Period?
