Abstract
Mobile Mapping System is an information technology, by combining mobile positioning technology, modern communication technology, spatial information technology and embedded technology. Now Mobile Mapping System has been applied in many fields, such as street asset inventory survey, property assessment, right of way data collection and environmental engineering etc.
Mr. Liu will give a talk on this topic which covers the following issues:-
l What is Mobile Mapping System?
l How does it work?
l Workflow for Mobile Mapping System in asset management.
l Integration between Mobile Mapping System and LIDAR imaging.
l Trials in Hong Kong and Beijing.
