| IMT Segment Construction, Floating and Sinking under MTR Shatin to Central Link |
Highlights of the Seminar: Key information, the first talk of introduction for SCL Immersed Tube Tunnel (IMT) construction and work procedures was briefly described last year. The 11 number of IMTs were constructed in Shek O and ready to be connected in Victoria Harbour. Now, IMT is towering to Junk Bay and sinking in Victoria Harbour from March 2017 to April 2018. The IMT floating, towering and sinking operation will be presented in this seminar. This railway cross harbour tunnel will be completed in March 2019. |
