Background:
Enhancing the value of geospatial information is working its way into the present and future of geospatial engineering industry. On the other hand, Building Information Modeling has established footing in the building industry, it is now starting to integrate more with infrastructure projects.
Both GIS & BIM are important tools to the management, professionals, architects, designers and engineers of the Building and Construction industry. This workshop will reveal the work of different professionals or experts in the field how they make use of the technology to create better design, get update project information at their finger tip, …etc. There will be discussions on how this technology could be even more integrate into the coming infrastructure projects.
Aim:
With sharing the tools and solution from the industry and illustrate the impact of technologies in variety of projects, audience can get wider exposure to various GIS and BIM technologies, applications, and success stories.
