MTR - SCL1103 Hin Keng to Diamond Hill Tunnels and Fung Tak Public Transport Interchange.
The contract 1103 – Hin Keng to Diamond Hill tunnels – part of the new Shatin to Central Link mass transit railway, for an amount of 28 billion.
The contract comprises the construction of 2,475 m of drill and blast tunnel and 1,400m twin tunnels to be excavated by means of a slurry TBM with 7.4 m diameter. The first SCL TBM, “Nu-wa” has been launched in mid-July and is responsible for the tunnel boring works from the former Tai Hom Village at Diamond Hill to Ma Chai Hang. A noise enclosure has been erected at TBM shaft to minimize the impacts to nearby residents.
